Salam ! Just for thoughts, it’s not about haram or halal. But being in khimar or, berhijab it supposed to NOT attract attention but looking modest. Nak melawa, ber make up is recommended for your family, husband, girlfriends but not for other men to look at us, we are also helping these men who are trying their best to lower their gaze by not looking at our beautiful face as well.
The wives of Rasulullah (saw), Aishah, when she gives her teaching of Hadith there are screens between she and the men, no one seen her face accept her own family members. So what does it tell us? She don’t teach Hadith face to face with them. It’s in sahib al bukhari.
No one is perfect, changing to be better is good, but we have to have a role model as well being women, like the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (saw).
Evil eyes, is scary and real. It can make you sick, can make you lose wealth, health etc. If we already do our adhkar, like reading 3 qul and ayatul Qursi but we still break the protection by exposing our photos, you think Allah will protect us? We still must do o part protect ourselves from evil eyes (ayn) and don’t break the protection doing the unnecessary.
Remember being modest not just in clothing but in ourselves too. It’s hard to abide bcos being women, we love beauty, we love getting praised, but make sure it doesn’t hinder our path to the Straight Path.
May Allah guide us, guide us, guide us. Ameen,
The message above is not for Izara, it’s for the topic and general thought for our sisters who are in social media. We want Jannatul Firdaus and we don’t want to even want to dip our leg to Jahanam by doing unnecessary. Focus sisters, focus. Allah loves us more and he wants to protect us. Do more in depth reading of Quran and Hadith and when ask a scholar, always ask a fews scholars and ask Allah to guide us.
